Bhubaneswar: Demanding regularisation of services, the Odisha Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy (AYUSH) Doctors’ Association has threatened to launch an indefinite cease-work stir and stage a dharna before the State Assembly if the demands are not met.
During a press meet in Bhubaneswar on Sunday, the Association alleged that Odisha government is treating AYUSH doctors as its step-son. They stated that the AYUSH doctors have been treating patients and working for the betterment of the society over the past 11 years, but despite this the State government failed to provide basic amenities to them or even recognise and regularise their services.
